Product coaching for startups

As a founder of an early-stage startup, achieving product-market fit is one of your top priorities — it’s too important to delegate, and yet it can feel overwhelming to do alone, especially if it’s your first time leading product.

As a product consultant and coach, I offer support and guidance to help you work through uncertainty and tap into your own wisdom and potential — and that of your team — to help you define and hone your product vision, strategy, and process, and ultimately achieve product-market fit.

Develop your product muscle

Unlike consulting or contracting, which outsources key parts of the job function to an external resource, product coaching focuses on building the knowledge and capacity of the full-time team.

As a product coach, I work with founders and early hires and guide them to:

  • 🎯 Zero in on the key strategic assumptions they need to validate

  • 🔍 Discover who their customers are, what they need, and what they value

  • 🤓 Set up (or level up) processes to stay organized and focused on what’s important

  • 🧪 Learn faster through minimum viable tests (MVTs) before building minimum viable products (MVPs)

  • 💪 Build their confidence, communication skills, and authentic leadership style

  • "Anya brings a sense of stability amid the chaos of building an early-stage startup in an emerging market. Out of the vast amount of information presented to her, she leverages her experience to help us focus on the areas that need the most attention. She is intelligent, empathetic, responsive, and brings a clear, analytical approach which we find incredibly valuable."

    — Luc Bettaieb, CTO of Abundant.Earth

  • “Anya is incredibly bright, strategic, and versatile. She asks the right questions and provides spot-on feedback. Few people have her depth in analytical thinking, marketing communications, and technology all at the same time. She absorbs information at lightspeed and is highly flexible to the changing needs of a fast-moving company.”
